What is DLC you may ask? Firstly DLC is not some sort of salad (do less calories) DLC is not a rock band or a 1960 dance move. You definitely won’t find DLC in your mother’s kitchen.



DLC simply means Downloadable content; this means you can now download extra content for your games. Take COD not call of dorks no no Call of Duty has DLC’s for Black Ops this means the user can download extra maps for multiplayer gaming. Another example could be PES (no not those PEZ sweet dispensers) Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 DLC includes new squad updates, soccer boots and new kits. To put this in an easier way DLC is downloadable add-ons for your game.




The negative side of DLC is the fact that you need internet connection and you need uncapped internet seriously some DLC reaches sizes of 1 gig or more ( Borderlands DLC The secret armory of General Knoxx was over 1gig and was I in for a shock when I saw the internet bill nuff said…..)

Another downside of DLC is the fact some of them are very expensive to purchase, some DLC are almost the same price as a brand new game!

DLC may have some negatives but very soon DLC will be the future for all gaming updates.
