The Metal Gear Series has been around since our grandparent’s time however the only difference is that our grandparents aged while MGS (Metal Gear).hasn’t.
 

The new MGS called Rising places you in the shoes or should I say ninja shoes of Raiden, Raiden is the main character from MGS2 therefore our long time hero Solid Snake has been replaced another change from the MGS series is the tagline ‘’Tactical Espionage Action’’ has been replaced to ‘’Lighting Bolt Action’’


MGS Rising fills the gap between MGS2 and MGS4 also this begins the transformation of Raiden into the ninja cyborg little is known about the story so far. All we know so far is that there has been greater emphasis on gameplay than the actual story itself also rumor has it that Rising will have shorter cut scenes than the previous MGS series


New features to Rising include ‘’Free slicing mode’’ this allows Raiden to use his ninja blade to slice through sections of the environment, vehicles  people and a watermelon here and there basically this slows down time so you as the player can slice and chop with precision.


Expect Rising in early 2012. ( That’s if the world doesn’t end by then).
