Grammy award winning musician Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home on Saturday morning. This came as a sudden shock to the entertainment industry; however, insiders claim it was not unexpected. This follows as Winehouse faced a public battle with drugs and alcohol.

 Her family issued an immediate statement to the public that"Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy." Celebrities and Winehouse’s friends took to facebook and twitter to share their thoughts and condolences. Rihanna tweeted “Dear God have mercy!!! I am SICK about this right now!” Whilst reality star friend Kelly Osbourne tweeted I cant even breathe right my now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!".
Police have issued an autopsy on the 27 year olds body to find the cause of her death. The toxicology report will only be released between two to four weeks from now. According to Winehouse’s Jewish religion she was supposed to be buried within 24 hours, however, due to the delay in the autopsy Amy will only be buried on Tuesday. Winehouse leaves behind an estimated fortune between $15 million and $30 million.
