Champions League draws up a surprise or two

The draw for the Champions League Group stage was made today in Monaco and it threw out quite a few mouth-watering surprises. The 32 Teams involved in today’s draw were seeded and placed in one of 4 Pots ,according to UEFA Co-efficiency ratings, these pots emptied one by one would fill the four places in each of the 8 available groups. The announcement was long awaited by the International Footballing community and did not disappoint. Some of the clashes include a rematch between Real Madrid and their bogey team Lyon, Chelsea new boy Juan Mata facing his old club Valencia, Arsene Wenger facing Marseillie from his home country, Man City getting a chance to test themselves against German giants Bayern Munich, Barca face the uncertainty of Belarus and the Czech Republic to face BATE Borisov and Viktoria Plzen respectively, United face 2 old enemies
And the big one Barcelona, Current champions of Europe, face the 2nd most decorated team in the competition ,AC Milan.
