Winning at Wimbledon
The final weekend of Wimbledon saw some of the best and most dramatic moments in recent history as both the men’s and woman’s finals were played out on Centre Court.

Roger Federer won his record tying seventh Wimbledon title, and with it reclaimed his World number one ranking, with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 win over Britain’s Andy Murray on Sunday. Murray who was playing in front of a home crowd was seeking to become the first Briton since 1936 to win at the All England Club but had no answers to a powerful Federer who looked to have gained most of his strength from the decision to close the centre court roof.

“It’s amazing (The result). It equals me with Pete Sampras, who’s my hero” said Federer after the match
In the Woman’s final, played the day before, Serena Williams claimed her fifth Wimbledon Title, and first major title in 2 years, with a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 victory over third seed Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland. Williams, the oldest Woman’s singles champion since 1990, turned back the years after a shaky and uneventful start to win her 14th Major title.

‘Coming here and winning today is amazing” she said. “It’s been an unbelievable journey for me”
